Fred Latuperissa is the President & CEO of ExIm20/20 Group, LLC, leads a global team of professionals bringing strategic advisory services to public and private sector in the area of : International trade, foreign direct investment and government relations. The Group's advises clients in the aviation, agriculture, infrastructure and energy sectors. His career has spanned over forty years in both public and private sectors. He retired as Director of the United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration in Southern California.
He also served as Head of Corporate Export Import Operations for Hughes Aircraft Electronics, a division of General Motors. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran, a former member of the White House Initiative for Asian Americans/Pacific Islanders, and former member of the US Civilian Response Corps - Reconstruction & Stabilization (US State Department). He is fluent in Dutch, Flemish, Afrikaans, Malay and Indonesian, and holds a Master’s degree in International Business Administration.
His temporary assignments overseas includes acting Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Kazakhstan, acting Commercial Attaché for Belgium and Luxembourg, acting deputy Principal Commercial Officer, Toronto, Canada, advance team member for the Secretary of Commerce, during the 1994 Presidential Trade Mission to China and the Asian Pacific Economic Cooperation meetings in Indonesia. His previous assignments in finance were with the Veterans Administration and the U.S. Department of Defense, Logistics Agency.
Mr. Latuperissa received the 2016 Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce ( https://youtu.be/KsEqeF3S3t4) Stanley T. Olafson Bronze Plaque Award for his accomplishment to the business community in international trade, U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade (ITA) Administration Memorial Award for supporting underserved group and the ITA Bronze Medal for foreign direct investment from the Secretary of Commerce.
