Fred Latuperissa is the President of ExIm20/20 Group, a minority and veteran owned business offering an array of services in international trade and economic development, foreign direct investment and government relations.
An experienced global visionary, he demonstrates strategic leadership in diversity, equity and inclusion. He is skilled in collaborating with key stakeholders and building sustainable partnerships between government and industry, adding value and delivering results.
His career has spanned over forty years in public and private sectors. He served as Head of Corporate Export-Import Operations for Hughes Aircraft Electronics, a division of General Motors. His previous government assignments include Director of the United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration and positions in the Veterans Administration and the U.S. Department of Defense Logistics Agency. His foreign assignments included Acting Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassies in Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Belgium, Luxembourg, China and Canada.
He is a U.S. Navy veteran.
He is an Adjunct Associate Professor in International Business with a Master’s degree in International Business Administration and is fluent in Dutch, Flemish, Afrikaans, and Indonesian.
Fred received the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce Stanley T. Olafson Award for his distinguished service to the Southern California business community in international trade. He received the U.S. Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration Bronze Medal for foreign direct investment, and the Memorial Award from the US Secretary of Commerce for supporting underserved groups.
