Fred Latuperissa is an award winning expert in the field of US foreign direct investment. He is the recipient of the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce Stanley Olafson Award for contributions to the development of world trade in Southern California, the U.S. Department of Commerce - ITA Memorial Award for supporting underserved groups, establishing the first U.S. Government export assistance center on Native American Tribal land , and the ITA Bronze Medal in support of U.S. foreign direct investment. He is the CEO of ExIm20/20 Group, LLC, advising private and public sector entities in areas such as economic development, foreign direct investment, government relations, trade and transportation.  Prior to that he served as Director, United States Department of Commerce, International Trade Administration, and U.S. Commercial Service in Southern California promoting regional business and international development, marketing, and recruitment of new business, and foreign direct investment. Earlier positions included financial analyst in the Veterans Administration and Department of Defense as well as private sector experience. He retired from the US government after forty years of service. He is a U.S. Navy Veteran, born in Indonesia and raised in the Netherlands. He speaks Indonesian and Dutch. He earned a Masters in International Business from West Coast University and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Redlands in California
